How to Use Saphir Renovateur

The Saphir Médaille d'Or Renovateur is one of the simplest and most effective ways to care for your shoes. Used properly, it keeps leather soft, clean, and looking its best.

Step 1 – Remove Surface Dirt

Brush your shoes with a horsehair brush like Médaille d'Or Horsehair Brush

to remove dust and debris.

✔ Prevents rubbing dirt into the leather

Step 2 – Apply Renovateur

Using a soft cloth or applicator:

• Take a small amount of Renovateur
• Apply in light circular motions
• Cover the leather evenly

✔ A little goes a long way

Step 3 – Let It Absorb

Allow the product to sit for 5–10 minutes.

This gives the leather time to absorb the nourishing oils and waxes.

Step 4 – Brush to Finish

Use a horsehair brush - Médaille d'Or Horsehair Brush

to buff the leather. 

• This removes excess product
• Brings out a natural, soft shine

Step 5 – Add Polish

If needed, follow with:

• Crème 1925 (for colour and nourishment)
• Wax polish (for shine and protection)
